Terms of Use

iKonnecT Terms of Use

Effective Date: 6 December 2025

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the iKonnecT platform ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose of the Service

iKonnecT provides automation, billing, hotspot management and network provisioning tools for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and related operators. The platform helps tenants manage subscribers, payments, connectivity, and network devices.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for business and professional use. You must be authorised by a tenant organisation to access or manage the platform.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials.
  • You must ensure only authorised personnel access the system.
  • You are responsible for all actions taken using your credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

Users may not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
  • Interfere with servers, APIs, or integrated network systems.
  • Attempt unauthorised access to other tenants’ environments.
  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or resale system functionality.
  • Use APIs to perform disallowed payment actions.

5. Service Limitations

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime.
  • We are not responsible for ISP network outages, misconfigurations, or device failure.
  • We are not responsible for payment gateway interruptions or settlement delays.

6. Payment Processing Policy

The Service only records inbound payment notifications. The Service does not:

  • Initiate outbound payments or disbursements.
  • Replace merchant dashboards from payment providers.
  • Store sensitive financial data such as full card details.

All settlement, reconciliation, and fund movement occur exclusively between the tenant and the payment provider.

7. Network Automation Disclaimer

The Service may apply configurations to network devices (e.g., OLTs, ONUs, routers, ACS-integrated devices). Tenants must validate templates and configurations before enabling automation. The Service is not liable for misconfigured devices or resulting service interruptions.

8. Data Ownership

Each tenant retains ownership of all subscriber, billing, and device data entered into the Service. iKonnecT does not claim ownership over such data and processes it solely to provide the Service.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data. Tenants are also responsible for securing their own devices, access rights, and integrated systems.

10. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Fraud or attempted fraud
  • Security violations
  • Repeated service misuse
  • Legal or regulatory requirements

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. iKonnecT is not liable for:

  • Loss of revenue caused by network outages
  • Device misconfigurations
  • Data loss
  • Payment gateway failures
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service or legal requirements. Continued use of the Service indicates acceptance of updated Terms.
